We launched SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD presents From Bells To Basslines - a unique interactive music journey around the capital. Simon Singleton, the founder and curator of SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD festival takes you through a selection of the pivotal music moments and songs that shaped London. From classical to club culture via everything in-between, this is the perfect show for anybody who loves London - whether you're a crate digging muso or just keen to learn some fun stories about the capital's cultural history.

Live on the big screen with a rapid-fire selection of special clips and magical moments, From Bells To Basslines heads on a highly entertaining journey around the city, showcasing how music has shaped London, and how London's music has shaped the world.

After launching at Soho's Twist Museum in summer 2025, From Bells To Bassline returned to SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD's home turf of Leytonstone in November 2025, with a sold out event in the wonderful back room of Filly Brook, one of E11's finest spaces.
